A message from Karen:

"For almost 7 years I've been in love...with a mountain. If I could live anywhere on Earth, I would choose to be here, where I'm living right now in Mill Valley, California at the foot of Tamalpais mountain (aka Mt. Tam). 

The first time I visited Mt. Tam, we made an instant and lifelong connection. I made a silent promise to her that I would return one day. I was young, and as the young do, I promptly forgot my promise and spent the next 15 years in New York City, the polar opposite vibration of Mt. Tam’s majestic and calming beauty. 

After some challenging, enriching and transformative times, I came out of a meditation and called my friend Michelle to tell her I was moving to Mill Valley. 

One week later I was on a plane to San Francisco. I arrived on a Thursday. While at a friend's house on Friday I realized this was the street I wanted to live on and I found my house on Saturday, two doors down, overlooking Mt. Tam. It was done. I was coming home to my sleeping lady mountain."
